About MiPRCasa
Buying a home in Puerto Rico at a good price is possible — the problem is that the opportunities are scattered. HUD homes live on a federal portal. Each bank publishes its foreclosures on its own website. Credit unions advertise theirs somewhere else, when they advertise them at all. Federal auctions are somewhere else again. Nobody has time to check fifteen different sites every week.
MiPRCasa does that work for you. We check the official sources automatically several times a day and put everything in one place, with filters by town, price and type. Every property links back to its original listing so you complete the process directly with the source.
Where the listings come from
The inventory currently gathers HUD (federally owned homes that had FHA loans), Banco Popular through its deShow division, FirstBank, Oriental Bank, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, credit unions across the island, and federal auction portals. We only use information those sources publish themselves, and photos are served from each source's own servers, with credit and a link back.
What we are, and what we are not
MiPRCasa is a data aggregator, not a real estate broker. We do not sell property, we do not represent buyers or sellers, and we do not take a commission on any transaction. The price, the terms and the process belong to whoever owns the listing.
That also means we can be straight with you: our guides tell you when something is a bad idea, because we do not earn anything either way.
A note on language
The site is written in Puerto Rican Spanish first, because that is who it is mainly for. The English version covers the listings, the towns and the guides most useful to someone buying from the U.S. mainland. Property descriptions come from the sources and are shown as they publish them, usually in Spanish.
Check before you commit
We refresh the inventory every six hours and mark listings that disappear from their source, but a property can be sold or its price changed before we see it. Always confirm the details on the original listing before making a decision.
